Long Overdue Hilton Head Post

At the beginning of May, we headed to Hilton Head for five, perfect days. My preferred daily routine of tennis, biking, running, beach, and pool had to be modified somewhat on this stay. However, Harry did plenty of bike riding for me. It was his favorite activity in Hilton Head, as he kept telling us.

He even liked it more than the slide (even though he went down the slide at least 150 times).

Seriously though, it was perfect swimming weather and we took full advantage of the pool at the resort and the pool at the beach club.

Phoebe enjoyed her dips in the pool too.

Of course, we enjoyed the perfect beach weather.

We brought Harry a Chelsea mini-soccer ball back from London, and the flat beaches of Hilton Head are the perfect place for some beachside football.

We also loved our late afternoon walks on the beach.

Our villa had a lovely view of the wetlands this time around and a beautiful sunset view.

Other Hilton Head activities included the Pickney Island National Wildlife Reserve, Harbour Town, celebrating some May birthdays, and general fun, hanging out.

Lastly, one of the great things about the Disney resort at Hilton Head, is they have great activities for kids, like the campfires. Harry won the trivia contest, got to ring the bell, and because of his success, we were allowed to be first in line for the s’mores. That kid brings good luck where ever he goes.

It was another great spring to spend time with Hilton Head. I love it even more each time we go. Next time, I will be back to the tennis, though.
